On iPhone, open the Snipek keyboard, find a snippet, and copy it. Then paste into your message. Plain text also has an Insert Directly option. On Mac, open Snipek from the menu bar or with ⌘;, choose your snippet, and copy and paste. You can change the Mac shortcut in Settings.
Does it work in my favorite apps?
You can paste snippets into apps that accept text, including email, messaging, and browsers. Formatting depends on the destination. Some iPhone apps and secure text fields don’t allow custom keyboards; you can still copy from the Snipek app. Embedded images aren’t supported.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No Snipek account is needed. Creating, editing, and using saved snippets works offline. Syncing between devices requires an internet connection and the same iCloud account. App Store downloads and purchases use your Apple Account.
What’s included for free?
Up to 10 snippets, with formatting, named fields, keyboard access, and iCloud sync. An optional annual Pro subscription unlocks unlimited snippets on iPhone and Mac with the same App Store account. You’ll see the current local price in the app before subscribing.
What happens if I stop subscribing?
Your existing snippets remain available to view, edit, copy, and sync. Only creating additional snippets is limited when you’re at or above the free limit. Your words don’t disappear when Pro ends.
Why does the iPhone keyboard ask for Full Access?
iOS requires Full Access for a custom keyboard to copy to the clipboard. It’s optional: direct plain-text insertion still works without it. Snipek’s keyboard doesn’t record what you type in other apps, read surrounding messages, or send your snippets to our servers.
